Oesophageal Cancer Can Be Treated and Prevented



India witnesses maximum cases of oesophageal cancer. This is due to the malpractice of tobacco chewing and ‘bidi’ smoking. But, the good news is that 60% of cancer can be cured, as per Dr. Praful  B. Desai, Senior Surgical Oncologist.
Oesophageal cancer can be prevented. All we need to do is not smoke or chew tobacco products. This is one form of cancer that we give ourselves.
